Highly caffeinated wine-and-dine hybrids are starting to pop up all over town. The genre's gold standard is Zeno. The year-old Uptowner gets it right in many ways, from its phenomenal wine program -- 42 well-chosen by-the-glass options -- to its lengthy, easygoing menu (most prices are $8 or less), a compendium of top-quality ingredients presented in familiar but creative ways. The result is food that feels tailor-made for a dinner-and-a-movie outing.
